Tween Books Give Girls Confidence

Like many girls her age my daughter is into some of the most unusual toys and reading material that attracts young girls. Just turning 13 my daughter is very astute as to the things that represent the fine lines between fact and fiction. For her and many of the girls her age tween books help girls to identify with the challenges and changes of growing up. Caught between the teenage years and childhood, tweens have come into their own by taking the best of both worlds that they are transitioning through and creating a category that is all their own.

For many girls the stages between age 10 and 13 can be especially difficult, going through changes in their body as well as feeling like they do not quite fit into either of the two main groups of children and teenagers tweens are looking for their own identity and many have been able to associate with the characters that they are reading about in the tween books that are available for this special groups of
young people.

My own daughter is an avid reader and loves to be caught up the stories of intrigue and mystery that surround the characters of the fictional stories she is reading. Taking from many different pieces of drama, fantasy, mystery and sometimes romance the adventurous stories that associate with the tween girls are helping many young women to discover their own uniqueness and personality. Providing a safe place for girls to enjoy reading about the problems and solutions to the dilemmas of life the tweens books are a helpful tool on a young woman's journey toward the teenage years.
