Still 2 Young?

Alot of Fathers suffer from a lack of self-confidence. They just fail to realise their potential fully. These Fathers are afraid that they will make fools of themselves or reveal their shortcomings if they were to try to do something that is possibly beyond the scope of their abilities.
Some people find it hard to talk to others. Jeremiah stepped back when he was called to be a prophet. He lacked the confidence to witness for God. He also felt to young, that older people would not listen to him.
Jeremiah's reticence showed that, if he did respond to God's call, he would have to rely on God's power instead of his own.
People sometimes wrongly assume that they are doing God a favour. The truth is that we will always be too young, too old or not ready yet tob do the work God calls us to do. I think those who are aware of their shortcomings are of any use to God. Only then He can empower them. So if you think your not got enough for God to use......you might be just the right person for the job.
